Presentation of First Bibles

St. Paul’s has a long-standing tradition of giving a Bible to our children who are in the second grade. These Bibles are purchased through a memorial gift that was given many years ago. One of the promises made at the service of Holy Baptism is the responsibility to “place in your child’s hands the Holy Scriptures.” Parents and sponsors made a promise to do just that, but we as a church made a promise to support them. On Sunday, November 29^th, parents of second grade children will present a Bible to their child during the worship service. If you have a child that age and have not received a letter, or have a child who has not received a First Bible, please let Pastor Stephen know.
