DESCRIPTION:St. Paul’s has a long-standing tradition of giving a Bible to
our children who are in the second grade. These Bibles are purchased thro
ugh a memorial gift that was given many years ago. One of the promises mad
e at the service of Holy Baptism is the responsibility to “place in your
child’s hands the Holy Scriptures.” Parents and sponsors made a promi
se to do just that\, but we as a church made a promise to support them. On
Sunday\, November 29th\, parents of second grade children will present a
Bible to their child during the worship service. If you have a child that
age and have not received a letter\, or have a child who has not received
a First Bible\, please let Pastor Stephen know.
