This year’s benevolence recipient is Hope5one, a faith-based, 501c3 nonprofit organization in Benton County, MO whose mission is giving hope and freedom from human trafficking. Human trafficking comes in many forms: from kidnapping people off of the street, to luring vulnerable children and young adults through their own cell phone or computer. It is vitally important that each of us learns about the prevalence and impact of human trafficking.
On Sunday morning, October 12, the founder and director of Hope5one, Connie McCray, will return to St. Paul’s to share about what her organization is up to. (Spoiler alert: it is A LOT of incredible work!) Immediately following the worship service, Connie will offer a brief presentation (20-30 minutes) about Human Trafficking and their fight against it. You are highly encouraged to stick around and hear what she has to say. We are excited to be able to support such a wonderful - and local - organization!
